Change Membership Plan Purchased on TYT App via Google Play
If you purchased your current TYT membership on the TYT App, via the Google Play Store (from an Android device), your membership plan can’t be changed.
If you wish to upgrade to a different membership plan, you must first cancel your Google Play subscription, then purchase your desired membership plan on TYT.com.
Note: To avoid being double billed, when your current paid membership ends, wait 72 hours before you purchase your new membership plan on TYT.com
To Cancel a subscription on the Google Play Store App
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device or browser.
- Select your PROFILE ICON or menu in the upper right
- Select PAYMENTS & SUBSCRIPTIONS
- Select SUBSCRIPTIONS
- Under Active subscriptions, select the TYT subscription
- Click CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION
- You may be asked if you’d like to PAUSE instead. To continue with cancellation, click NO THANKS.
- You may be asked to select a REASON for the cancellation. Choose one of the options and click CONTINUE
- Select CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION
Your subscription will now show CANCELED status in your Google Play Store Subscriptions. However, on TYT.com, you will continue to have ACTIVE status and access to TYT until your current paid membership period expires.
Once your current membership period ends, your status will reflect as CANCELED on TYT.com.
Again, to avoid double-billing, wait for 72 hours after your membership ends to purchase your new membership on TYT.com.
To Renew/Upgrade your membership on TYT com:
- Sign In to TYT.com
- Select JOIN in the header OR Select the PROFILE PHOTO in the upper right corner and Select SETTINGS > PLUS MEMBERSHIP > MY ACCOUNT tab and CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR A NEW TYT MEMBERSHIP
- Select your desired level of membership.
- Enter PAYMENT INFORMATION
- Click START MEMBERSHIP
