What is Amplify Program?

By purchasing AMPLIFY packages at TYT.COM/AMPLIFY, TYT members have the opportunity to spread the TYT message and the progressive agenda to current and future journalists. Each AMPLIFY package will deliver a set number of memberships to predetermined media, news, and journalism industry recipients.

What's the difference between buying a "gift," buying a "sponsorship," and buying an Amplify Package?

There are a couple of differences but all are buying TYT membership(s) for other people. Gifting is typically done when you have specific people in mind whom you want to have a TYT membership. Sponsorships are a way to support TYT by buying memberships in bulk and distributing them to people or organizations you may or may not know well. Amplify packages allow you to buy bulk sponsorships for specific groups that TYT will distribute on your behalf.

How are the Amplify memberships redeemed?

If you buy an Amplify package, your work is done after purchase is complete! TYT staff will take care of all the distribution of the memberships you purchased. Please note that we will make our best effort to see that your memberships are redeemed by the intended recipients. We cannot guarantee that all Amplify Package memberships will be redeemed, but we will do everything in our power to see that they are. We'll call. We'll write. We'll tweet. TYT will attempt to distribute these memberships to the best of our ability for a period of up to six weeks using all methods available to us. Memberships can be redeemed for up to one year from the date of purchase, at which point they will expire.

How will I know if and when my Amplify memberships are redeemed?

We'll tell you! If you purchase an Amplify Package that includes a target group, TYT staff will begin reaching out to the intended recipients via email, telephone, and social media. TYT Staff will be able to track exactly who redeems your sponsorships and when. Anyone who has purchased an Amplify package will receive at least two emails from TYT Staff within six months of purchase updating you about the status of your Amplify memberships. If at any time you'd like to check on the status of your Amplify memberships, please email support@tytnetwork.com.

Can I use memberships that I purchased in an Amplify package for my friends and family?

Unfortunately, Amplify Memberships are non-transferable. If you want to buy a membership for a specific person or group of people, please refer to tyt.com/gift or tyt.com/sponsor.

What happens to unclaimed memberships?

Memberships that have not been redeemed by the target recipient will expire after 1 year from the date of purchase.

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as you purchase your Amplify sponsorship subscriptions -- even if the included memberships are never redeemed. The full purchase price for fixed-duration gift subscriptions will be charged at the time of purchase and is nonrefundable.

Can I cancel the subscriptions I've purchased?

You can only cancel recurring memberships. Because all of the Amplify memberships are 12-month fixed term memberships, they cannot be canceled.

How do I get my t-shirt?

When you purchase a sponsorship of $150 or more, we will reach out to you at the email address you provide upon purchase with additional details. Domestic shipping will be free, international shipping charges may apply.

How do I name an item in the studio?

If you purchased a package that includes a named studio item, a member of the TYT Network staff will be in touch with you soon with the items available. Thanks so much for your support.
